Bihar Government Soon Start Free Animal Mobile Ambulance Service

To help the cattle owners, the Bihar government is soon going to start a mobile ambulance service.

Through these mobile ambulances, the government will reach the livestock owners’ homes and treat the animals free of cost.

Apart from this, medicines will also be made available free of cost.

The Animal and Fisheries Department has taken the responsibility of starting these ambulances.

To complete this project, the department will soon procure 300 ambulances.

A veterinary doctor, an assistant and a driver will be deployed in each ambulance.

Veterinarians will be able to call these ambulances by calling on a toll free number.

In order to improve the service, the Animal and Fisheries Department will also maintain the data of all the call details.

A Mobile Veterinary Service Unit will be set up to serve one lakh animals.

Apart from this, the Bihar government will spend Rs 16 lakh on an ambulance.
