They appoint the new Civil Surgeon in 5 districts.
Muzaffarpur is one of these five districts.
Dr. Vinay Kumar Sharma, who was the civil surgeon of Muzaffarpur, has been appointed the additional director of the health department.
The Additional Chief Medical Officer of Shekhpura, Dr. Virendra Kumar, has now been appointed the new Civil Surgeon of Muzaffarpur.
