Domestic Helicopter Services Muzaffarpur Patahi Airport

To start domestic Helicopter service from Muzaffarpur Patahi Airport, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has asked a report from the District Administration.

The Ministry has asked the district administration to submit the information on Heli Seva Portal.

To complete the same, Muzaffarpur DM, Pranav Kumar has formed a team of four officers that includes SSP Jayant Kant, ADM Revenue Rajesh Kumar, ADM Disaster Dr. Ajay Kumar, and SDM West.

Those of you who don’t, 40 districts from all over the country have been selected for domestic air service. These districts have the resources to start the air service but for different reasons, major airlines are not taking an interest to start the air service in these districts.

Looking at the same, the Civil Aviation Ministry has decided to link these districts with domestic helicopter services so that passengers from any part of the country can visit these districts via helicopter.

In 2017, the Civil Aviation Ministry demanded 475 acres of land to start the Patahi Airport for Aeroplane services. It was estimated Rs 70 billion to acquire the land but due to the unavailability of land, the proposal is pending so far.

Now, to counter the same, it seems like the ministry is starting this initiative. For now, we don’t know, when this service will start but as soon as we know any information regarding the same, we will let you know.

Do let us know in the comments down below, how many of you like this initiative? Does it solve the problem of flight services from Muzaffarpur? What do you think?
