BPSC organizing the Recruitment Process to fill 1.78 lakh Posts

Back in May this year, the Bihar government passed the proposal of the education department to recruit 1.78 lakh teachers for the state-run schools.

These teachers will teach the students of primary, middle and upper middle classes.

The state-run agency, BPSC, is organizing the recruitment process.

The online application submission was started on June 15 and the last date to submit the application was July 12.

However, after this decision, the last date to submit the application will also be extended.

Teachers Appointed After 2006 will have to Pass this Exam

The state government has clearly said that teachers appointed through panchayati raj institutions and urban local bodies since 2006 will also have to pass this examination to become a government employee.

Otherwise, they will get a pay hike but not the status of a new lot.

Now, most of the teachers appointed since 2006 have boycotted this examination.

The result is, the number of applications is not quite high.

Seems like that’s the reason the state government has removed domicile based reservation from the recruitment process.

Let’s see what is the future of this recruitment process. In the meanwhile, let me know your comments below.
