Back in 2013, This company extracts from the Bihar State Electricity Board. Right now, NBPDCL governs the electricity control in 21 districts of Bihar.
Well, In Bihar, People now tend to pay their electricity bills online. However, the most necessary thing to get when paying their electricity bill is the bill receipt.
In select districts of Bihar, now offline payment of electricity bills is possible. The person who read electricity meter now collect the electricity bill offline and give us the bill receipt hand to hand. However, In districts, still, people won’t get their bill receipt. Well, In that case, this article helps you to get your electricity bill in pdf format via your smartphone.
All you have to do is install an app called Bihar Bijli Bill Pay.
This app gives you to the facility to download your electricity bills in PDF file.
However, first, you have to do some primary steps which I have mentioned below.
Once you download the app, tap on Bill Details & Bill Payment and enter your consumer number. Your consumer number is a 12 digit code which you can easily find in one of your earlier bills. Comment below, if you face any difficulty. See the screenshot below to get more insight.
Once you feed your consumer number, a next page opens in the app that asks you feed your Mobile number and email id. Well, entering a mobile number is mandatory while entering the email id is optional.
That’s it you finally add a consumer id in this app. Tap on the back button to again enter into the main page of this app. Now, all you have to do is fetch your electricity bill receipt.
To fetch your electricity bill receipt, you have to again open Bill details and Bill Payment.
Here you can see your added Consumer ID, tap on it and then tap on View Download bill > Download Bill.
That’s it you can now get your electricity bill in pdf format.
Note: You only able to get your electricity bill receipt for which you have already made the payment.
