The Bihar School Examination Board has released the first merit list of admission via OFSS to Class 11th for the academic session 2020. Earlier it was said the list to be released on August 4 but for some reason the release was postponed. Now, on August 7, 2020 the BSEB has released the first merit list of admission to Class 11th 2020 via OFSS and one can access the same list by visiting the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) official website at www.ofssbihar.in.
Students have option to take Admission in more than 3500 Schools and Colleges
The Board has said, students whose name appear in the first merit list must enrol themselves in between August 7 to August 12, 2020, otherwise, the board will cancel their enrolment for the academic year 2020. This year, after addition of 85 new meritorious high schools in the Inter Enrolment list, students can apply in a total of 3564 colleges and school in the state with a total seat count of more than 17 lakhs.
The Slide Up Facility
This year, the board has provided the slide up facility though which students can apply for a better college after taking admission in the college allotted by the board. However, the enrolment will be transferred only if the seat remains vacant in the same college.
Mails has been sent to all the Schools and Colleges
The board has emailed the first merit list to all the Principals of chosen Schools and Colleges and instructed them to enrol the students present in the same list. Once an institution enrols any student, they also must update the seat list on the board website, so that, anyone can see the status of all these more than 17 Lakh seats.
How to Check the Intimation Letter for Admission?
Recalling for you, The BSEB board announced the admission to Class 11th the same day when Class 10th board result was out i.e. on 26th of May. The admission for the academic year 2020 via the OFSS commenced on July 8, 2020 and the last date of application was earlier fixed to July 22nd but later extended to July 27th.
Responding to the applications submitted by students in the same period, the BSEB board has released the first merit list of Class 11th admission for the academic year 2020.
