Bihar Class 9 12 students classes DD Bihar Channel

Since the second wave of the global pandemic has affected the schooling of students in Bihar, especially the schooling of the students in higher classes. To overcome the same and provide some sort of schooling, the state government has announced to start classes for students of Class 9 to 12 on the free to air television channel DD Bihar.

These classes are set to start from May 10, 2021 everyday in between 10 to 12 am. From 10 to 11 am, the classes for students of class 9 and 10 takes place where in between 11 to 12 am the classes for the students of Class 11 and 12 will take place.

Everyday in this one hour for each standard, classes for different subjects will be scheduled and the time period of each subject will be 16 to 17 minutes.

Students will get to know about the topics that are to be taught in the next classes one day prior to the broadcast.

The state government has announced to start this initiative, since all students in the state are not equipped with the Internet connection, however, most of the students in the state have a television at their and DD Bihar is a free to air television channel.

This initiative will benefit around 36.8 lakh high school students of the state. Similar to the Mera Doordarshan Mera Vidyalaya program like last year, the Bihar government has prepared the syllabus of these classes with technical support from UNICEF.
