Seeing COVID-19 outbreak in the state, earlier this month the Election Commission approved the formation of 33,804 new Auxiliary booths in the state. I already wrote a post about the same which I think you should read at first.
1469 New Auxiliary Booths in Muzaffarpur for Bihar Assembly Elections 2020
Now, Today, it is reported Muzaffarpur to have 1469 new Auxiliary Booths, while earlier, 3225 booths were already existed in the district. These 1469 new Auxiliary booths are going to be set up in those polling areas where the voter count exceeds one thousand in numbers. So, for now all the data we have tells this year Muzaffarpur conducts polling for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections at a total of 4694 booths.
90 Mobile Auxiliary Polling Stations
Out of these 4694 booths in the city, it is said 90 booths are going to be Mobile Auxiliary Polling Stations. Furthermore, out of these 90 Mobile Auxiliary Polling Stations, 26 of them are to present in Muzaffarpur city area, 14 of each in Meenapur and Aurai, 12 in Kudhani, 9 in Bochahan, 4 in Sahebganj, 2 of each in Gaighat, Kanti, Baruraj, and Paru, and the last one in Sakra.
Beside increasing the number of polling booths in Muzaffarpur, all the MHA social distancing norms are also going to be followed and for the same the election commission has released the guidelines.
